When we went to Mt. Tabor there were lots of things to see. We saw the donkeys and the pigs and all the animals then we went for a long walk to the Mt. Tabor well and there were big fish and little fish, crabs and snails-so much to see! When we were about to leave the Mountain the brothers took us for a tour to the water fall and we got to walk in the water and it was soo fun!! We hunted for snails and fish and smooth rocks–how fun it all was.

When we went to the Bethlehem house we found that most of the children were badly retarded, but if you think carefully on what they CAN be you can find Jesus in them. There was one child who looked terrible. She was born with her brain hanging out of her head she had her teeth broken and battered and she had no hand and a bent foot–I can’t even explain it–but she also had Jesus. Her name was “Mary” and is a miracle–now 3 years old. We will go back to work at Bethlehem house during our time here–today we just visited.
We should not say that we are going to do this or that–no,no,NO! We are going to follow Jesus. -Jonathan, 9

Finally we are going to the missions! Dad, Mom, all my brothers and sisters and I are going to the missions in Kingston, Jamaica. We are going to work amoung “the poorest of the poor”. My name is Jonathan and I am 9 years old. Fr. Ho Lung (the founder of the Missionaries of the Poor) has called all of us to help in Jamaica. This was the greatest time of my life! I am actually going to my future home–because I want to be a brother when I grow up! But, the sad thing is that we have to wait a week to pack up…and I cannot be patient!
